Air quality

During the First Regional Meeting of the Thematic Working Group (TWG) on Air Quality on May 7, 2007, Seoul, Republic of Korea; the TWG concluded the decision to divide the regional work plan into 3 sub-groups; which are urban air pollution, indoor air pollution, and transboundary air pollution.

Pre-event workshop on Better Air Quality 2008 on Air Quality and Health in Asia
A Pre-Event Workshop was held on 11 November 2008 in Bangkok, Thailand, before the Better Air Quality 2008. The workshop was jointly organized by Co-Chairs of the Air Quality TWG of regional initiative on environment and health in Southeast and East Asian Cities. Professionals exchanged knowledge and skills in the area of air quality and health in Asia. Participants discussed their research and management activities.
